Remote Destination – Lost 3-2

Shows

Damn this show and it’s ambiguity! Did Jin know that he was beating up the dude that was shagging is wife? Sure, the pop said he didn’t tell him, but isn’t is possible that Jin kind of suspected? Those writers think they’re so crafty leaving us to guess who he wasn’t supposed to have contact with.

Did I miss the episode where Sayid stepped over onto the coldblooded killer side of things? I mean I know he lost Shannon and he was betrayed by Michael, but seriously the whole “kill them all except for two” line really caught me off guard.

On a side note how great was it to see Trixie from Deadwood? I’m glad that she’s found a steady gig so soon, I just hope that she lives long enough to enjoy it.

Since it’s only the second episode I’ve yet to really vent about my hatred of Sawyer. I hate the guy. I hate how smug he is. That said I loved that he went though all of the pain and suffering in an effort of gauging the Other’s fight prowess, only to undermine his efforts by blurting out his plan in front of surveillance!

Oh and I think that it’s fair to say that both Sawyer and Kate taste like funk, as they’ve been sans dental hygiene products for at least a few days.

One more thing, it seems like the theme of the flashbacks this season is characters at times that they regret. We see Jin taking it hard to the tutor and Sun getting caught with him. We’ve seen Jack drive his father back to the drink. If I’m right I’m curious what other moments characters regret taking part in.

All in all it was an enjoyable episode. I do wish that they could have kept us in the dark a bit longer as to final fates of Eko, Desmond and Locke. But what are you gonna do?
