Sweeney Todd is the story of a barber named Benjamin Barker (Sweeney Todd), a serial killer, who opens a barber shop in London. This shop ends up being the breeding ground for a an sinster type relationship with his co-tenant Mrgerie Lovett, who assisted him in his killings.
Sacha Barton Cohen, better known as Borat, is in talks to play Signor Adolfo Pirelli, a highly boastful barber in competition with Todd.
Sweeney Todd is tentatively scheduled for release in December of 2007.
