ECW Spoilers for November 7, 2006 (Plus RAW Off-air Notes)

News, Spoilers

Thanks to Pulse Wrestling reader Paul Marshall, who sent in the following results from last night’s duel RAW/ECW show, at which NEXT week’s ECW was taped…

I just returned from the ECW/RAW show in Moline and I decided to do a
report on my experience.

Dark Match

Spirit Squad (2 members) d. The Highlanders

Just your basic bout, with the other three members not in the match
getting ejected from ringside. However, that doesn’t stop the Squad
as they win by cheating.

ECW Spoilers for 11/7/06

CM Punk d. Mike Knox (Extreme Elimination Chamber Qualifier)

Knox came out with Kelly Kelly, but sent her to the back, which gave
him huge heat. Pretty good match as CM Punk makes Mike Knox tap out
to the Anaconda Vice.

Elijah Burke & Sylvester Turkay promo

Looks like with the loss of Kurt Angle to TNA, WWE decides to move the
next “Kurt Angle”, or should I say, the other man with amateur
wrestling background, Sylvester Turkay, to ECW. Awesome promo by
Burke — should be interesting to see how they do.

Heyman Promo

Heyman and his security detail make their way to the ring. Heyman
talks about how he made a monkey out of RVD “last week” and they
showed the crowd what happened at the last taping. He then explains
that by the end of the show, five of the six extremists would be
involved in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at December to Dismember.
He then promises that by “next week” the sixth person would be known.
He issues a challenge to any RAW, SmackDown, or ECW star to sign their
name on the open contract. He then books RVD & Hardcore Holly against
Big Show and himself in a tag match for tonight’s main event.

Davari (w/The Great Khali) d. Little Guido (w/Trinty)

Davari makes his return using the former Muhammad Hassan’s entrance
music, bringing the mammoth Khali with him. There were some chants
(probably unnoticable, but I heard them) for bringing Hassan back.
Davari beats Little Guido in a decent match and afterwards, Khali
gives him the double-handed chokeslam.

Test d. Tommy Dreamer (Extreme Elimination Chamber Qualifier)

Too short in my opinion. Test was dominant in the match, but Tommy
got some offense in, but the TesTKO finishes Dreamer.

RVD & Hardcore Holly d. Big Show & Paul Heyman via DQ (or was it no contest?)

RVD was in the entire match, as was Big Show — Paul was too chicken
to try to do anything, except slap RVD around while Show holds him.
The crowd was into Hardcore, but once RVD got the hot tag in, Holly
immediately turns on RVD once again…re-aligning himself with the New
Breed. Not too sure why they changed him back — he was good getting
the crowd support. Hardcore nails the Alabama Slam on a steel chair.
Big Show does the 500+ pound splash onto the chair and that was the
spot the bell was rung. With that in mind, I assume it was a DQ win
on RVD and Holly. However, I wouldn’t be too surprised if the
official result turns out to be a no contest.

RAW Notes

Is it me, or did Dusty Rhodes mess his line up? It sounded like he
said Flair was a six time World Champion. It could be the way he
spoke as well.

Triple H got a fan to do Shawn Michaels’ DX line while RAW was airing
a commercial. Triple H was joking with the crowd about how WWE is on
24/7.

After the cameras stopped rolling, Big Show stepped inside the ring
and did a face off with John Cena. He looked like he was going to
head out, but grabbed Cena’s throat. Cena kicked him in the balls and
gave him the F-U to send the crowd home happy. There was no post-show
dark match, despite the MARK website saying that DX and Cena would
team up to face Umaga, Orton, and Edge in a six man tag.

For spoilers from TONIGHT’S show, taped Sunday before Smackdown, click here. There will be no ECW tapings next week due to RAW & SD doing a “supershow” on Monday, November 6.
