TV Babies: Working My Way Back to Prison Break

Shows

“Sometimes things happen that are just out of your control…”
– Mahone/Scofield

As Scofield feels Mahone bearing down on him, he decides it’s time to learn some things about his hunter. So he does a little digging into the Arthur Shales case, and pays a very valuable visit to the home of the former Mrs. Mahone (McNulty’s ex from The Wire). Suddenly, Michael’s the hunter instead of the hunted – if only for a moment. Mahone’s character is also finally starting to come together — albeit in an increasingly negative light.

Meanwhile, Sara is holed up in yet another shady motel — trying to piece together Michael’s code Memento-style. She finally cracks it, and heads for a rendevous in Gila, NM. Unfortunately, Mahone has invited himself to the party — (no) thanks to Kellerman. Does anybody still actually think he’s on her side?

T-Bag can’t hardly wait to reunite with those infamous front steps for a little payback. But when he arrives (complete with a lovely assortment of sunflowers), all he gets in return is a “For Sale” sign on his head courtesy of Bellick and another round of torture at the expense of his vet-stitched hand. But not before laying a zinger on Billick: “I couldn’t possibly expect a grown man who still lives with his mama to understand the machinations of love”.

C-Note’s in Chi-town preparing for a rendevous of his own, with a little help from his friends. His Rainbow Room plan inexplicably works, but as the reunited family share a hug — a big question mark hangs over their heads: What now?

Lincoln and L.J. bumble and stumble their way through the episode, until they finally can’t help but get caught. Can Uncle Mike bail them out again?

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Unearthed. Maybe it was the time away, I don’t know. But I’m back on board!
