– Steve Austin’s first movie under the WWE Films banner, The Condemned is scheduled for an April 27, 2007 theatrical release, with a promotional push to tie into Wrestlemania. Former WWE wrestler Nathan Jones plays a Russian in the film.

– Three key members of nWo — Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman (X-Pac) — will be appearing Saturday night in NYC at the Third annual Ringside Fest at Caroline’s. Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka will also be there, along with Jakks Pacific’s WWE creative who will talk about their new product line including the new Montreal Screwjob action figures.

– Johnny Nitro and Melina were at Tuesday’s premiere party for Kevin Federline’s CD release, and you can read about it and see photos (including one with Paris Hilton) here.

– According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, WWE has signed Robert “Egotistico Fantastico” Anthony and Keith “Mike Venom” Walker to developmental deals, with the two mid-western indie stars set to debut in Deep South Wrestling this coming January. After a reportedly great Deep South tryout, ROH Tag Champ Claudio Castagnoli has received a WWE developmental offer as well. We’ll have more on this as it develops.
