It was announced yesterday during a pre-fight press conference at the International Fight League’s World Team Championship Semifinal show in Portland, Oregon that the IFL’s newest coaches will be none other than “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock and Ian “The Machine” Freeman.
Shamrock will coach the Northern California Lions team in the 2007 season. Freeman will coach the British Bulldogs team in 2008; although the team will take part in several events in 2007. Neither coach was prepared to announce their team members as of yet.
IFL CEO Kurt Otto said that there will be one more coach and team announced prior to the start of the 2007 season; more than likely at the December 29th World Team Championship Finals.
