~ Seems the gore and violence of Saw III was a bit too much for our friends across the way in the United Kingdom. Five people ended up fainting during the film and requiring emergency assistance including one who ended up with a trip to the hospital.
~ Rumors have started up again about a sequel to Eli Roth’s 2002 film, Cabin Fever. Ti West (The Roost) will be taking over the directing duties from Roth for the sequel.
The first film was about a group of college kids who go out to a cabin in the woods for a vacation. They end up in the woods of a freakish town inhabited by some odd local folks. But the worst was yet to come when while in the woods, they come in contact with a flesh-eating virus.
There was talk of making this sequel back in 2004, but nothing much since recently. It also seems that West plans on bringing some new material to the table instead of a rehash of the first film. This is all rumors as of now, but I will update more as it becomes known.
~ The teaser and first full-length trailers for Black Christmas have both been posted recently here, but the first poster for the film is now out. It opens in wide release Christmas Day.
