MEGADETH was featured in the MTV special “Gears of War: The Race to Launch” dedicated to the most-anticipated Xbox 360 game of 2006, Gears of War. The band performed its song “Gears of War” (from the upcoming “United Abominations” album) at a release party for the game, which took place at at Six Flags in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Holy geekness. Eh, Dave has come out before as a big fan of comic books and other nerdy things. And this press is probably eight hundred times better than any other press Mustaine has gotten in the last four years or so.
The System Has Failed was a really, really good album though. United Abominations is still in the process of being mixed with no official release date given, although sources have mentioned March 20th, 2007.
