~ If you didn’t already know, there’s going to be a third part to the great short horror story movies of the eighties when Creepshow 3 comes out sometime in mid-2007. There’s going to be five short stories for you to enjoy, and hopefully they deliver the same type of frights and laughs that the first two movies brought. You can get your first look at each of them with the trailers here: Alice, Rachel The Call Girl, Professor Dayton’s Wife, The Haunted Dog, and The Radio.

~ The release date for the remake of The Hitcher has been moved forward from sometime in February to January 19, 2007. The Hitcher tells the story of two kids traveling cross country and pick up a mysterious hitchhiker who sets out to make their lives a living hell.

~ Another remake is in the works, and it’s of another Japanese horror film. Takashi Miike’s film One Missed Call will be getting the remake treatment from French director Eric Valette. The original and remake will tell virtually the same story of people receiving voicemails from themselves including the date, time, place, and how they are going to die.

A pretty good cast is shaping up this film as it so far includes Edward Burns, Ed Harris, Gabriel Byrne, and recently added Margaret Cho. It’s tentatively scheduled to come out in theatres August 24, 2007.

~ Some early poster artwork has appeared online for the upcoming Paul W.S. Anderson film designed after the popular video game Castlevania. Look for it’s release sometime in late 2007.
