Some really nice twists in this episode. First, I’m shocked that anyone switched tribes, and as you’ll see in the power rankings, it didn’t HELP either of the mutineers, but definitely allowed others to gain some spots.
The other major twist was that Brad is on the Jury, meaning that there could be ten people on the jury. I say could, because there’s still the possibility that a couple of people could be voted out and still NOT be on the jury. To be honest, I wouldn’t be all that surprised – we’ve seen Burnett pull fired candidates seemingly at random to be part of the finalists’ teams on The Apprentice, and something similar on Hell’s Kitchen. I guess we’ll find out in a few hours.

Eliza and Murtz talk about the mutiny, and also about a show that involves Murtz and… something. I’m gonna guess he made a list of reality stars he hasn’t met and is setting about to do that and cross them off.

12. Brad “Nancy Boy” Virata (Raro) [NC] – Well, we kinda saw this one coming. I guess we can call this a “continuation” vote since there was no reason to vote you out based on this week but we had your not being clued in on the Stephannie audible plus your “I can do puzzles” play equaled being on the outs. Jonathan seems to be a sure bet to go next but will he survive like he’s been able to do so far? Personally, I doubt it.
The good news is, you’re on the jury. The bad news is, you’re on the jury and will be sequestered for 18 more days.
11. Jonathan Penner (Raro) WORST PLAYER [7] – So you switched tribes based on your “bond” with Candice but we find that Candice has a better bond with Parvati and Adam. Not a good sign.
10. Rebecca Borman (Raro) [11] – That’s not to say you’re out of danger. You’re currently the least threatening person on the tribe, and that makes you an easy target for elimination next week.
9. Sundra Oakley (Aitu) [8] – With Jonathan and Candice gone, you’re now low person on the totem. Watch your back, because if you go to Tribal Council they’ll be aiming atcha.
8. Jenny Guzon-Bae (Raro) [6] – Next week will be interesting in looking at how your tribe sees you. You’re still a prime candidate to reconnect with your old Puka tribemates, so we’ll see how far paranoia sets in.
7. Oscar “Ozzy” Lusth (Aitu) [10] – You’ve shown just how valuable you are in challenges, but with a merge coming, could you be vulnerable? It’s a definite possibility, because everyone knows that you’re a challenge fiend.
6. Candice Woodcock (Raro) [N/C] – I can understand why you mutinied. You felt that you had a strong bond with Adam and Parvati. But was it smart to leave your alliance with Yul and Becky? I think so – you wouldn’t be able to break their bond, so thinking long term, this is smart. But in the short term, you’re gonna have to face questions about your loyalty, and survive that. Luckily for you, you’ve got Jonathan to use as a fall guy.
5. Nathan “Nate” Gonzalez (Raro) [N/C] – Once again, doing well without having to do a damn thing (great work if you can get it). Candice and Jonathan defecting puts you higher up the totem, and I totally dig that you’re playing this in a smart fashion. You’ve come a long way from being on the outside looking in with Hiki, Nate.
By the way, what does “get my Denzel on” mean? I thought it might mean that your doing an Oscar-worthy acting job, but maybe it means something else?
4. Adam Gentry (Raro) [9] – Having Candice back on your side immediately bumps you up a few places.
3. Rebekah “Becky” Lee (Aitu) [N/C] – Never has it been so important to have a two person alliance than it is right now. Lucky for you your alliance has the Immunity Idol.
2. Yul Kwon (Aitu) BEST PLAYER [1] – You dropped a spot, but your discovery during the Immunity Challenge won the day. And with Jonathan gone, you’re now firmly in the driver’s seat of your tribe. But for your sake, I hope that the numbers game with the tribes doesn’t catch up to you.
1. Parvati Shallow (Raro) [4] – Candice and Jonathan have handed you first place on a silver platter. The question is, can you do what’s necessary to stay here?
