The sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins now has a release date for all fans to start counting down to. Warner Bros. Studios has announced that The Dark Knight is tentatively scheduled to come out July 18, 2008.
The Dark Knight returns stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman while bringing in newcomer Heath Ledger as the sinister Joker.
The summer of 2008 is shaping up to be a huge summer, especially for fans of comic book themed movies. Along with Knight, Iron Man is set to open on May 2 and then The Incredible Hulk on June 27.
