~ Eli Rot’s sequel Hostel 2 has been pushed back in release date to April 5, 2007. This time around instead of three men, three female students studying abroad who find out the horrible truths behind international hostels.

~ Rob Zombie’s Halloween, a re-imagining of John Carpente’s horror classic, is still a good eleven months away at least, but that doesn’t mean some over-excited fans couldn’t get in the mood for it now. In what certainly seems to be fan-made, a trailer for Halloween has hit the internet, and it’s really not too damn bad. Click here to check it out.

~ Anchor Bay’s Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon is set to hit theatres January 5, 2007. The film will only open in twelve markets though with a special edition DVD to hit store shelves later on in the year.

The film stars Nathan Bessel, Jennifer Brown, Kane Hodder, and Robert Englund in a film dedicated to the horror genre. A soon to be psycho horror serial killer has talked with a documentary film crew and given them access to his life. He goes over the entire workings and eccentricities of the horror genre while also planning his horrible designs for the peaceful town of Glen Echo.

~ December 29, 2006 marks the release date of Pan’s Labyrinth where a family in Spain in 1943 moves to a house after the rise of Fascism. Next door to their home is an old abandoned labyrinth that houses a fawn the family’s 12 year old daughter falls in love with. There has already been one fantastic looking trailer released earlier this year, but now we’ve got another one and it’s a tad more gruesome. Check it out here.
