Episode 10-12, “Dude, I’m such a Hot Giant Chick Right Now!

First things first, a correction from last week:

Michaelangelo McCullar to me

I know you hate Alabama, but it was Karlyn who said she was an art major
and knew throwing pots was hard, not one of the airhead blondes.

So noted. And for the record, what I dislike about Alabama is their “blame everyone but me” attitude.

Roadblock – Camel Kebabs
One pound of meat is a lot, but we’ve seen people eat (and not eat) four pounds of Argentinian barbeque, so the eating was really nothing. More notable was the fact that Rob and Karlyn weren’t helping their teammates a lot by telling them how to eat.

It should be noted that with a seven Roadblock rule in effect, it was smart strategy for Kimberly to take this one. It gives them some flexibility in the final Roadblocks, although one of them looks to be a skydiving task, where order of departure is more important than completion of the task itself.

Travel
Teams traveled from Casablanca, Morocco to Barcelona, Spain. Everyone got on the same flight, which had to have been frustrating for Dustin and Kandice, who worked hard to get from last to second on the way to the Roadblock

Detour – Lug It or Lob It
This is where Dustin and Kandice lost the Race. Marked for elimination, I felt that they had to go for the luck-based task because it afforded them the opportunity to get way ahead of the others. They knew that they were marked, and getting lucky was the best way to finish first and avoid the 30-minute penalty. Instead, they took the safe task and pulled a Cho trying to complete it. Tyler and James played it safe, mirroring the Beauty Queens, while the other two teams took a risk that paid off for them.

Miscellaneous
– Well, there are two teams that I actively dislike and one t I’ve grown to like in the race to the Finish Line. I don’t like the chances of Tyler and James, but they’re the only team left that deserve the million.

– Down to the wire to the Finish Line. I thought I spotted some Metro trains, so France seems to be a likely destination.

– Given the nature of the non-elimination penalty, I’m thinking that we could see a superleg this time around.

– Will there be another Yield? And will we see a final Roadblock which (similar to the last two seasons) forces the teams to use their brains?

That’s all for this week. Next week – the finale!
