Paul Heyman: Gone from WWE, Off to Hollywood?

News

After getting back from Iraq Vince McMahon told people that Paul Heyman was done with the company in every way. Shane and Stephanie had been under the impression that Heyman was done as on-air talent and creative but would remain with the company, yet that doesn’t appear to be the case. Heyman was due to head out to Hollywood this week for meetings on scripts he’s worked on. The creative teams currently look like this:

RAW – Brian Gerwitz (lead) with Ed Koskey and Dave Kapoor
SMACKDOWN – Michael Hayes (lead) with Dusty Rhodes, Court Bauer and Christopher DeJoseph (fat stripper guy)
ECW – Dave Lagana (lead) with Pantelis Ypsilantis

The other members of the writing staff were largely indifferent about Heyman leaving, believing it was best for both him and the company. Ypsilantis was the only writer visibly upset about Heyman going as he was considered Heyman’s protege and he was under the impression Heyman had saved his job in the past month.
