Who's Who in the DCU

Features

Tim, Christmas is right around the corner, are you in the festive spirit?

It fluctuates. It’s been cold (finally) in Jersey the past couple of days, so that helps the mindset. However, we’ve been discharging people left and right from the program I work for so that does a lot to undermine the go ol’ holiday spirit. On top of that, Janelle’s in Minnesota with her fam for the next few days so I’m just knocking around our sensibly decorated house by myself.

But, come the 25th, Janelle will be back, we’ll be eating crab legs at my parents’ house, listening to Christmas music and wearing bows from discarded wrappings.

Links (what I want for Christmas)

Broken Dial = Sufjan Steven’s Christmas Box set (I actually gave mine to a friend, for Christmas. I figured I’d give it to her early since it’d be kind of a moot gift to open on Christmas.)

Okay, then, I’ll play your little game. My pick here is”¦Richard Buckne’s Meadow. Released in 2006, it somehow slipped through without my notice. I have his previous 7 albums so I need this to complete the collection. No one on earth does sad bastard music better than this guy. Plus, he’s an awesome storyteller live in concert.

Beyond the Threshold = I could use something nice and gothic. Maybe a cape?

I’m such a lousy member of our site, I actually had to look up what the Beyond the Threshold imprint was all about. And now that I know?

I’m still at a bit of a loss. Maybe a big skull tattoo on my back. Janelle is out of town and I do have some time on my hands”¦

The DVD Lounge = I really want the Best of Electric Company Vol 2.

I love me DVDs, but the one I’m pulling for most these days is The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.: The Complete Series.

Inside Fights = Clearly I’m wishing for peace on Earth.

I love our site, but I still can’t believe we have a section dedicated to fighting. I guess it is technically sports, but”¦ Anyway, that said, I wouldn’t mind a chance to go 12 rounds with Daron. I’ve got some punches that will”¦wait for it”¦RATTLE HIS ANCESTORS!

This plug for Rock Balboa comes purely as a favor to my man Sly. I still believe in you baby!

Machine Gun Funk = I’d love a Tupac Christmas album.

Ooo, that’d be something. (Can I actually write the “ooo” or the phrase “that’d be something” when talking about Tupac? Feels like their should be a rule). Until that gets released posthumously, though, we always believe Christmas in Hollis.

Moodspins = I’d like more outspokenness.

I’d like to start writing for them. Complaint of the Week, back on the net, on Moodspins? I don’t know, maybe in the New Year? Fingers crossed.

Not a True Ending = I really want a bloody Wii. I think I might have a hook up. I really hope it pans out.

Everyone loves the Wii, but me. I don’t know why that is, I just know it is true. Me, I’m just jonesing for more time with my X-Box and that new Justice League game.

Popcorn Junkies = I feel kind of dirty but I kind of want to see that Ben Stiller museum flick.

Between that movie (which does hold an odd interest over me despite the presence of Robin “Patch Adams” Williams) and Rocky Balboa, I’m starting to doubt my role as a discerning viewer of cinema. Thankfully, there is plenty of Oscar bait lying around to watch as well so I can feel clean again.

Primetime Pulse = I just want something good to watch on TV, it’s slim pickings this holiday season.

That’s what TV on DVD is for. Janelle and I are in the midst of devouring West Wing Season 3.

Retro Grading = I really want to play old Nintendo games but I’ve got no access at all.

I’m not a huge sports game fan in general, but I love Double Dribble and Blades of Steel from classic Nintendo. I have the cartridges. I just need a Nintendo my young cousins did not pour soda into for God knows what reason.

Tailgate Crashers = I guess I’d like to see Carmelo throw some more punches.

That’s cool, I guess, but I’m all about Suns on a 15 and 0 tear. CRAZINESS.

At least their victories can distract me from my ever more depressing New York Giants.

Tim, anything to link this week?

I feel like I should, it being so close to Christmas and all.

So, let me throw you over to Amazon.com which is where I did the majority of my Christmas shopping this year. I hate doing internet shopping but how else was I going to find the time?

What I Read Last Week

52 Week Thirty-Two – So that explains why Montoya is fighting Yeti on the cover. I really dig the Accomplished Perfect Physician. And the Teen Titans stuff was kind of fun.

So everyone really did think that was Montoya on the cover before they read the story, right? Good. I was worried I was all alone on that.

Fallen Angel #11 – Another good issue. I’m loving the stuff with Jubal and Jude. The vampire drug thing seems “eh” but I’m sure David will pull it off.

The Escapists #6 – Wow, this was a remarkable mini. I so fell for the swerve in the beginning. But I loved this mini. I can’t wait for the trade, because I’m pretty sure this is going to be my “go to” trade in terms of gifts.

Ex Machina #25 – I really want to call Vaughan lazy for resorting to the same kind of spotlight issue that he does in Y, but he’s so masterful with I can’t fault him. This was such an enjoyable issue. I really never cared about Bradbury, but now I do. This is an amazing book.

I heartily second that!

Sandman Mystery Theatre #1 – Kind of a disjointed start, but compelling enough for me to stick with it. Plus it’s a mini. And it’s good seeing Dian and Wes again, even considering the circumstances.

Green Lantern Corps #7 – Really, really good issue. Champagne wowed me with his story this issue. I loved the use of the Dominators and Durlan. I loved the writing and art. The only thing I didn’t love was that the caste dot on the Dominator on the first page is way too big. But apart from that the issue was great.

Green Arrow #69 – I enjoyed it. I dug Brick still trying to carve his niche. I liked the press conference. But I really loved that Starman Matt posted on our boards about it.

That man is tenacious like a pitbull, huh? That’s not my style when it comes to comics, but damn if I don’t admire that kind of tenacity.

Justice League of America #4 – I loved the “origin” of “Red Arrow.” It was cute and funny. I dug the reveal of Grundy. But I’m with you on Doctor Impossible, Tim, he didn’t live up to the hype.

A week later, I’m still split on it. We’ll see what I’m feeling when the team finally comes together in 7, I guess.

100 Bullets #79 – Wow. Just wow. I don’t believe it.

Stormwatch PHD #2 – More great character work. Gage is really impressing me with his writing. He’s making me want to track down old Stormwatch issues to learn more about these characters, when they were in their prime. I can’t wait until next issue.

Firestorm #32 – I’m going to miss Igle and Moore. They managed to wrap things up while leaving them open ended enough for the next writer to work on things. I dug the Dolly and Pionic Man trying to find their place in the world. I liked Jason dealing with his father. Good issue.

X-Factor #14 – Interesting. I can’t say I loved the issue. Something felt off. But it was still a good read.

The Spirit #1 – What a fun read. This is pretty much my first trip to Central City and it was enjoyable. Cooke managed to place The Spirit in the modern world while still (I think) keeping true to the roots of the character. Great read.

Well, on to the column.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY!

Soak1313 asks a question that so makes me want to shout out “Your mom!” But, I’m way more mature than that.

Who is the most powerful Green Lantern of all time?

Y’see the thing about the power ring is that it’s only as powerful as the person who wears it. Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner are both strong willed individuals. Kyle Rayner and John Stewart both have great imaginations. The bearer determines how it’s used.

Hal Jordan is widely recognized at the “greatest Green Lantern.”

However way back in Green Lantern Corps Annual #2 a prophecy was made. According to Qull of the Five Inversions, a member of the Empire of Tears, one of the last Green Lanterns standing before the GLC falls is Sodam Yat, a Daxamite called the “ultimate Green Lantern.” And a Daxamite (think the powers of Superman) with a Green Lantern ring sounds pretty powerful to me.

Wouldn’t the “Ultimate Green Lantern” have better hair?

And before you doubt the veracity of Qull’s words, he also predicted Abin Sur’s demise and Hal Jordan’s rise. It should also be noted that Qull’s story is the first reference to Ranx, the sentient city which showed up in the Green Lantern Corps #6. So perhaps Sodam Yat will appear in future issues of the title.

Tim, would you rather have the ultimate or the greatest?

Well ultimate is stripped down of all unnecessary continuity so”¦

Yeah, I made a Marvel joke. No, no applause. I’m just that good.

Daredevi1 definition of a “good idea” differs a bit from mine.

My question is about Guy Gardner…in Rebirth his Vuldarian powers “exploded”, but has he lost them? Could it be possible that in a very dangerous and threatening situation they emerge again? Like a Vuldarian GL? (I think that’s a good idea)

Y’know I’d be lying to you if I said I dug Vuldarian Guy Gardner. I thought he was corny and lame. I hated his “tribal” look and shape shifting powers. Frankly I hope he never returns.

That said, it’s surely possible for him to return. Given that Vuldarians are playing a role in Guy Gardner’s current mini, I’m guessing that your question will probably be addressed there. But on the off chance it isn’t, I’m sure we’re only a few years away from a fanboy who loved Vuldarian Guy to get into the industry, pitch a story to DC about bringing Vuldarian Guy back and it seeing print.

But I could see Guy’s Vuldarian powers coming out as a deus ex machina, just when he needs them the most.

God, this topic depresses me.

Tim, where do you stand on Vuldarian Guy?

Wait”¦Vuldarians are in the Guy miniseries? I thought the whole deal was that he was the last creature in the universe with any sort of Vuldarian blood in him? Ugh, like I even care.

Nope, not a thing wrong with this look.

Which I guess is the answer to your question Mathan. Like most things associated with Guy Gardner, I don’t get it and I largely don’t care. Purely from aesthetic standpoint though, that tribal look”¦awful.

Juan Francisco Gutierrez Santiago thinks family is important.

Whatever happened to Mace Gardner and to the clone of Guy?

Mace Gardner, Guy’s older brother is dead. Mace was the guy who guided Guy’s life. He was the firm hand who kept Guy in line. But then he got paralyzed and underwent experiments which resulted in him becoming Militia, a guy who worked on both sides of the law. He was killed by Major Force.

Guy’s clone, Joseph Gardner is still around. He showed up in Birds of Prey #10 & 11. He ended up being stopped by Superman and thrown into the Slab. But that was before the Slab had that breakout in the early issues of Outsiders so, in theory Joe Gardner is out in the world and enjoying life. Provided he survived Infinite Crisis and didn’t die off panel.

Clones, Tim? Can Guy get any lamer?

Wow”¦I”¦god my head hurts.

Soak1313 sticks with the theme

What exactly do the duties of Guy Gardner being the Honor Guard entail? Is it just getting the cool uniform?

The Green Lantern Corps Honor Guard is composed of the best and brightest of the GLC, which makes it kind of curious why the Guardians would choose Guy Gardner as a member.

In their first comic appearance (Tales of the Green Lantern Corps #1), the Honor Guard consisted of Tomar-Re, Apros, and K’ryssma. They were Green Lanterns that all of the other GLs held in high regard, especially Tomar-Re.

The Honor Guard is supposed to be like the GLC equivalent of the National Honor Society. But having Guy as a member, man I bet Tomar-Re is rolling over in his grave.

As for his costume it’s very reminiscent of the uniform of the Fists of the Guardians, the robotic servants of the Guardians.

Tim, why couldn’t Guy Gardner be a simple character, so we’d never have to cover him again?

I don’t know. I wish I had an answer for you, but I don’t. I think we are just doomed to have Mr. Gardner pop up every few months like a bad penny.

As for why Gardner is in the Honor Guard, it is an age old tradition called “placating the fans”. Hal is the Greatest, Kyle is the Torchbearing Next Step in GL Evolution (or whatever), and John’s”¦well”¦John’s the black guy. Gardner did not have anything but he’s so popular DC probably felt the need to throw the fans a bone. Thus, Honor Guard! Lip service that results in no real change in the character, how he is written, or what he is written doing.

Then again, I could just be being cynical.

Hordeprime makes the theme his own.

What’s the deal w/ Alan Scott’s ring? It was around before Hal & the entire GL Corps concept, right? So how do they explain its relation to the other GL’s?

Very good question. The basic answer is that the relationship is explained via the joys of retconning. But here’s a more detailed version.

Centuries ago the Green Lantern of 2814, Yalan Gur was almost killed by a yellow creature. Since Yalan rocked as a GL, the Guardians really didn’t want to lose him to some stupid weakness, so they removed the yellow weakness.

Of course with his weakness removed, Yalan was corrupted by his absolute power (which corrupts absolutely.) He started terrorizing the residents of ancient China. The Guardians saw this and realized the folly of their way. In an attempt to teach Yalan humility, they made him vulnerable to those he was terrorizing, by making his ring vulnerable to wood.

Yalan was attacked and mortally wounded. He away from Earth and collided with the Starheart (the stray mystical energies the Guardians gathered together in an attempt to free the universe of chaotic magical forces, in the form of a meteor). The Green Lantern and the Starheart merged and fell to Earth, where Chang, a lamp maker, forged a lantern from the green meteor.

Eventually the lantern landed in the hands of Alan Scott.

And that is the link between Alan Scott’s battery and ring and those of the GLC.

Tim, where do you weigh in on the dreaded “yellow weakness?”

It is bizarre, arbitrary, but still sort of fun. I’m generally glad it is no longer a part of Corps these days, but I love the wealth of amusing panels (especially relating to Hal getting hit in the head with random yellow objects including, best of all, ceiling tiles) it produced. So, in short, great for a joke, but not so hot for actual stories.

Just so no one thinks I made that one up.

I have to say I always kind of dug the wood weakness though. It was a nice contrast with the so high tech it is almost mystical nature of the Green Lantern’s power.

Soak1313 does not cotton to anyone hijacking his theme

Has this Von Daggle character ever shown up before and has the thought of “The Corpse” ever appear as well?

First off can I just say how much I loved that aspect of the Green Lantern Corps #7? You’ve got a Durlan named “Daggle” and a subgroup of an interplanetary heroic force? It feels like vintage Legion of Super-heroes. The Corpse really reminds me of the LSH’s Espionage Squad, complete with the abandonment of their respective rings.

But to answer your question, this issue marked the first appearance of both Von Daggle and the Corpse. It’s probably not too much to assume that Von Daggle is an ancestor of the Legion’s Reep “Chameleon” Daggle.

Obviously I’m excited about the prospect of where this story is going.

Tim, what’s up, why aren’t you reading Green Lantern Corps?

I read the mini and found it underwhelming. I read the first few issues and found them ever more so. I’m no huge fan of the Corps concept in the first place, so I gladly escorted myself out of the room rather than subject myself to something I was not loving and others to reviews where I endlessly reiterated that I did not love a title in the same way month after month.

Daredevi1 thinks the Millennium crossover was okay, but Will Smit’s crossover hit “Willennium” was better.

What happened to the new guardians of the Millennium crossover? Are they alive?

Poor, poor Daredevi1. You long to learn about a group of characters that most comic fans wish to forget. But for you Daredevi1, I’ll give a rundown for those (rightfully) forgotten characters.

Ram – This poor chap met his end off panel as a result of one of the bouts at Roulette’s club.

Gloss – She’s still around and a member of the Global Guardians who are appearing in the latest issue of Green Lantern.

Jet – She gave her life during Invasion!, yet somehow she’s alive again and a member of the Global Guardians, alongside Gloss.

Extrano – One of comics first HIV positive characters, he’s since faded into obscurity, not even warranting an appearance in Day of Vengeance which featured nearly every other magically inclined character in the DCU.

Perhaps he and Bloodwynd are off playing chess somewhere?

Harbinger – One of the few relics of the original Crisis, she died trying to protect Kara Zor-El on the pages of Superman/Batman. But Donna Troy is currently doing the whole “documenting the universe” thing.

Floronic Man – This former villain was to be the future of the DCU. But after the Millenium he was radioactive. His last appearance was in last years criminally underrated Son of Vulcan miniseries. It was a cool appearance that I hope some writer builds on.

Thomas Kalmaku – After his stint with the New Guardians his life feel apart. His marriage was in shambles and he got into drinking. But he did manage to pull his life together long enough to help rebuild Oa.

So Tim, who’s your favorite former New Guardian?

I hesitate to admit this, but…I totally missed this whole. I literally have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the words, they are in English. I got that those words form sentences that tell a story. I just don’t get what is going on with that story. It sounds like a horrible, horrible mess.

Markpoa wonders about the fate of violent children

Whatever happened to that girl Guardian who aged and stabbed her Uncle Kyle? What was her name again? Did she appear past Green Lantern?

Ah, you speak of Lianna. Lianna is the kid Guardian who mysteriously grew to adulthood and had to be tracked down taught the ways of her powers.

She and Kyle had a good relationship, but for some inexplicable reason in Green Lantern #175 she stabbed Kyle Rayner. It was never really explained why.

That is until Omega Men #2. In that issue we found out that a magical artifact, a Heartstone, is what transformed Lianna from a child into an adult. Furthermore apparently she stabbed Kyle at the behest of Ganthet.

Since then she’s by lying low on Earth trying to learn about God. But the best part of the story is that she told all of that to John Stewart, making Omega Men the only OYL book that he’s appearing in on a regular basis.

Tim, aren’t you glad that someone finally decided to address Kyle’s stabbing?

If I say yes, can we promise never to speak of it again?

Soak1313’s such a big man, picking on tiny blue men

As seen in the past couple of issues of 52…have the Guardians always been such pricks?

Look, the Guardians move in mysterious ways. They don’t need to explain themselves to someone like you. I mean, they’ve got to deal with 7,200 Green Lanterns. Plus they’ve got to put up with Guy Gardner’s shenanigans. Oh and they’ve also got to find ways to keep John Stewart out of the mix and keep Superboy-Prime under wraps. Do you understand what kind of pressure that puts them under?

But yeah, they can be a little harsh. I mean they’re the guys who forbade Hal Jordan from visiting Earth for a whole year when they thought he was spending too much time on the planet and not enough patrolling the rest of the sector. He was stuck in space for a whole year!

Actually, that always made sense to me. I mean, it is like a cop only sitting inside his house when the area he’s supposed to be patrolling is 10 square miles. Maybe Jordan should be a little less selfish, huh?

They’re also the group who went on a crazy carnal trip to another dimension with the Zamarons and left the Green Lanterns and the universe to fend for themselves.

So yeah, they might seem like pricks in that instance, but I think if you look at the big picture the Guardians clearly come out ahead and have done more good than bad. I mean unless you count the whole “introducing evil into the universe” thing.

Tim, how do you feel about the Guardians?

Yeah, they’re pricks, but they are the kind of pricks I enjoy in entertainment. In real life, I’d hate them just as much as you do, Mr. Soak, of course. As neighbors, they would suck. They’d cut down trees that were technically on my side of the property and when I asked why they’d say something vague like, “the balance of the universe depends on it”. They’d probably call the police whenever I had friends over because of noise, but you just know that four days later there would be a party over their place twice as loud with twice as many people. That’d be okay though, because, “if we do act now, all will be lost” or some such nonsense.

But for entertainment purposes, as fictional figures, their “we know what’s right and we act accordingly even if it seems cruel and random” approach to everything is compelling. I say we keep them around.

Julian S. understands that past, present, and future are merely matters of perspective as time is not linear

Are Waverider and the Linear Men still around? What are they doing these days?

Yes and no. Waverider was actually killed by Skeets in 52 Week Twenty Seven. It was a dark day for fans of energy beings with Kenny G hair.

The Linear Men were thought to have met their end at the hands of the Quintessence in Man of Steel #118. That was their last appearance for quite some time. However in the next issue of The Atom the title character apparently runs afoul with a Linear Man, which seems to say that they’re still alive and kicking.

So if you’re a fan of the Linear Men you may want to check out The Atom #7. And for fans of the Waverider, services are being held currently at Vanishing Point.

I know you dig The Atom Tim, are you excited for the Linear Men to return?

It is my column to confess ignorance, so I’ll just own up to the fact that I do not actually know all that much about the Linear Men. I know Waverider (of course) and I vaguely remember them from some Jurgens drawn issues (Zero Hour perhaps”¦some Superman stuff maybe). Otherwise they are a bit of a blank slate.

I do like time travel done well and trippy though, so if they bring with them the promise of that, then yes, I shall welcome them with open arms.

Mark Poa mourns for Chronos

Skeets seems to be on a rampage against time travelers. Can you give a rundown of notable DCU time travelers? I was curious about Alex Walker as well. Now that Chronos is back as a villain, it seems that that Chronos could have been retconned out of existence.

Booster Gold – Booster allegedly died in 52 but when he was alive he did plenty of time traveling.

Barry Allen – While he’s already dead, he bounced around through time quite a bit while he was among the living.

Bart Allen – Bart was actually born in the 31st Century and sent to the present to get a grip on his powers. He’s returned to the 31st Century a few times to visit with family. And while he’s current the star of his own title, I’m sure anyone reading that title is probably at the point were they’d wish Bart was killed by Skeets.

Hal Jordan – Hal frequently went to the 57th Century and played the role of Solar Director Pol Manning. But he’s pretty stationary now, so he’s not really in any danger of dying.

Rip Hunter – Rip is an obvious MIA in the DCU currently, but he’s the most experienced time traveler in the DCU.

Per Degaton – Per Degaton is much more of a predator in the realm of time travel. I can’t see him getting caught by Skeets.

Wally West – Wally is as MIA in the DCU as Rip Hunter. But he’s been known to traverse time like nothing.

Chronos – Finally we get to Chronos and I’ve got bad news for you. Chronos met his end on the pages of JSA. He was having a conversation with Per Degaton. While Degaton talking to him, he sent some members of the Red Morgue into the past to kill Walker as a child. When the deed was done, Walker Gabriel vanished from the present.

While many of Per Degaton’s actions seem to have been righted, this act doesn’t appear to be one of them. Sorry.

Tim, did I miss any notable time travelers, and are you going to miss Gabriel?

I actually am going to miss Gabriel. I believe I referenced here in this very column some months back that I actually only had a partial Chronos run and was not entirely sure about how I felt about the title. Well, I completed my run at a fifty-cent sale a few months back and I just loved the whole thing when I read it all together. Plus, what a way to go”¦erased as a kid. Personally, I think it was righted and we just don’t know it yet. I’m hoping anyway.

There is only one prominent time traveler I can think of that you missed and that is Hourman (android edition). Currently he may or may not be a partially completed shell in Rex Tyle’s basement.

Soak1313 may or may not have been born on a Monday.

I know Grundy has shown different personalities but has there ever been one like the one we see in the new JLA?

We saw a pretty intelligent Solomon Grundy toward the end of the Jack Knight Starman title. He was intelligent enough to link up with Culp and plot against the heroes of Opal.

And also in Starman when Batman, Floro, Alan Scott, and Ted and Jack Knight, entered the mind of Grundy they encountered various aspects of him.

His appearance in Justice League of America #4 initially stuck me as odd, but the more I thought about it the more I “got” it. If you were the intelligent Grundy, wouldn’t you want to stay that way instead of dying and probably coming back as dimwitted or maybe even “good?” The more I thought the more I appreciated it.

Tim, I know you reviewed the book, but is there anything else you want to share on the issue.

As I said above, I’m split on the book. The idea of a smart Grundy does not so much bother me as the feel of the reveal. Anyone can toss a shock ending into a comic, movie, book, etc. but it takes skill to make it work. I know Meltzer has that skill because he brought it to bear in The Zero Game. This twist, however, feels empty. Sure, it is a surprise, but no clue, anywhere, could have led you to this result. That does not mean it is wrong to have smart Grundy as the culprit, it just means you can’t build to it in this manner and expect people to come away satisfied. Either don’t have the reveal as “shocking last page” or give us the clues to slap afterwards and exclaim, “”¦of course!”

Kevin Wong gets into the ugly aspects of continuity

Continuing on the Starman posts… if he is indeed Thom Kallor, which Legion continuity is he from?

Ooh, I love to theorize!

Let’s look at what we know.

First the current Star Boy in the Legion of Super-Heroes sports a cape and is Black.

Second, the Star Boy from the Levitz/Giffen era wore a costume remarkably similar to that which the current Starman sports.

Third, in the scenes from upcoming issues, the second panel seems to show Dawnstar a legionnaire from the Levitz/Giffen era, who’s not a member of the current LSH.

Based on this it’s clear that we’re meant to assume that this Starman is from the Levitz/Giffen LSH and not the current LSH. But that could just be what the creators want us to think and are purposefully leading us in that direction while really going another.

Personally I want him to be from that Legion, because I loved that Legion. I’d love nothing more than to see it return. To me that was the pinnacle of storytelling in the DCU. It was a book that was filled with characters that you really cared about. And despite that terrible story that Levitz closed out the last JSA title with, I’ll always remember him for his run on Legion.

Sadly we’ve reached the end of another column. For those celebrating Christmas, have a merry one.

And Kwanzaa on the following day. For you folks celebrating Hannukah, hope it wraps up strong. For fans of Diwali, sorry we missed you. Same to the Ramadan boosters, but we’ll make sure and wish you a happy Eid Al-Adha in the next week or so.

As usual you can either email me your questions/comments or post them on our thread (which has returned from visiting Bloodwynd).

Oh, before I go, here’s my question to you; What was your favorite single issue of 2006?

“It’s too hot to handle, too cold to shovel.”
