There are now rumors flying around that Val Kilmer could step back into his role of Chris Knight from the 1985 film Real Genius.
The film was about a young kid who is too smart for his own good and ends up going to college and being placed in a genius program. His roommate is big time party animal Chris Knight who is just too smart, and smart ass, for his own good. They are put on a project to create a new laser that has never been done before, but when their professor takes it for use as a weapon and personal gain; they seek out to make him pay.
Val Kilmer was joined by Jon Gries and William Atheron in the film, yet no word on if they would return for the sequel. There really isn’t any other news then what’s been said because it still is simply a rumor. Stay tuned here to Popcorn Junkies as I’ll get you more as I hear it.
