Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com is saying that he can’t confirm stories that Mirko Cro Cop will be in Vegas Saturday to announce he’s signed with UFC, but several MMA sites are reporting that this in fact will be the case.
According to Meltzer, if Cro Cop does indeed jump to UFC, Eddie Sanchez has been contacted to be his opponent at the February 3 PPV.
Meltzer goes on to say that his “impression is UFC has believed they have had Cro Cop for a good three weeks.”
