MTV’s Wrestling Society X, set to debut 1/30/07 in the 10:30pm timeslot on Tuesday’s will be debuting with its first match being Jack Evans vs. Matt Sydal. In case you don’t know, these are both ROH workers and two of the better high fliers around today.
The first episode will also feature an over the top rope ladder battle royal with Vampiro, Six Pac (Sean Waltman), Teddy Hart, New Jack, Youth Suicide, Kaos, Puma, Al Katrazz, Justin Credible, and Chris Hamrick.
The musical guest will be Black Label Society. The show will open with the band performing and continue on with the band members as guest commentators.
In addition to the main show, there will be an Internet show, WSXtra hosted by Lacey, possibly the best manager active in the business and Fabian Kailen, who is the host of the TV show. This show will feature tons of extras, including extra matches. There’s discussion of these shows being available on demand, but no confirmation of that concept.
