~ Rob just finally announced that his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, will be joining the cast and playing Michael Myer’s mother Deborah. We’ve all assumed, or more so known, for a long time that Sheri would have a part somewhere in the film since she always does in her husband’s movies.
~ William Forsythe (The Devil’s Rejects) will also be in Zombie’s new version of Halloween. He will be playing Ronnie White who is the abusive boyfriend of Deborah Myers. I am excited about this one because Forsythe has long been one of my favorite actors.
~ Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects) has also joined the cast to play Nole Kluggs, a worker at Smith’s Grove Sanitarium.
~ Another favorite of mine joining the cast is Danny Trejo (From Dusk Til’ Dawn, The Devil’s Rejects), who will be playing Ismael Cruz, another worker at Smith’s Grove.
~ Pat Skipper (The X-Files) and Dee Wallace Stone (Felicity) have been cast as Mr. and Mrs. Strode who are Michael and Laurie’s parents.
~ And another horror great has been added as Ken Foree (Dawn Of The Dead, The Devil’s Rejects) is set to play Big Joe Grizzley. Grizzley is a truck drive who happens to come into contact with Michael as he is traveling along.
All these great actors and actresses join Daeg Faerch, Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, and Heather Bowen in Zombie’s new vision of Halloween set to be released on August 31.
