And HHH’s Replacement on RAW is…

News

RAW added a big name to its roster today, as HHH heads off for surgery.

The Great Khali was announced as RAW’s newest superstar, since — according to Jonathan Coachman — his ECW contract expired. Pro Wrestling Insider’s Mike Johnson has reported that Khali was set to be built up as the #1 challenger to ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley for Wrestlemania, a role which may end up going to a repackaged Gene Snitsky, who should be debuting on ECW any week now. HHH’s injury will change more than one Mania match. The decision to bring Khali over was made since HHH’s injury, but there has yet to be a decision on whether or not Daivari will be brought over to RAW as well.

According to ECW.com, Tommy Dreamer — who has been feuding with the giant and his associate Daivari — will get one last chance at vengeance in a match tomorrow night.
