Top 10 Shows:

#1 – NFL Playoff Game (CBS)
#2 – NCAA BCS Title Bowl Game (FOX)

#4 – CSI: Miami (CBS)
#4 – Desperate Housewives (ABC)

#7 – Cold Case (CBS)
#9 – Two and a Half Men (CBS)
#10 – Without a Trace (CBS)

FOX stayed in the race for awhile with its final NCAA Bowl Game, which would have been the most watched show of the week. Except the NFL gets watched by more people and the Chargers vs. Patriots helped CBS deliver the final blow to knock out the competition. and become the most watched show. As for actually TV shows, Grey’s Anatomy returned to the top there, but did so without any competition from CSI, which was a rerun.

NBC was able to pull off #2 without any real heavy hitters. It stayed consistent, though, which is more than ABC and FOX can say. FOX and ABC have proven that they have about 3 or 4 EXTREMELY strong shows at the top, but very little after that. NBC is just consistent enough to beat them for #2 this week. Overall, they are closely fast on ABC for #2. This week should be very interesting as 24 and American Idol fully return for FOX, in addition to every major show also coming out of reruns! Stay tuned…

Sir Linksalot: Television News

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
