Cassidy Riley Update

News

On his MySpace blog, former TNA wrestler Cassidy Riley — who recently got a WWE tryout at the RAW tapings and in a match with Monty “Marquis Cor Von” Brown in ECW — talks about his future plans, including other potential WWE bookings:

My first blog of 2007 and what a way to start off the year! As you may have heard or read by now, Jan. 15 I wrestled in Bossier City, La. for WWE. I got the privledge to get in the ring with a true legend “Hacksaw”Jim Duggan, and it was a BLAST!!! It was the first time in around 4 years that I have wrestled for another major U.S. promotion other than TNA, not to mention it was close to my home town which made it even better for me. That day I spoke with Johnny Ace and was invited to Little Rock, Ak. the next day for Smakdown/ECW, and couldn’t wait. Upon arriving to the building that afternoon , I learned that I would be wrestling a guy whose carrer has taken a similar road to mine in the past few months, non other that Monty Brown. Monty is now going by Marquis Cor Von(sorry if spelling is wrong). The past few days have been great seeing old friends and being revived by having a “new stage” to perform on. I still have a busy week ahead. I will be in Shreveport, La. Friday wrestling at the Shreveport Convention Center at the KTBS Boating and Outdoor show, bell time starts at 6:30pm.The Naturals, James Storm, Adam Armor, Tracy Smoothers, Natalie Niedheart, Buff Bagwell, Eddie Colon(Carlito’s younger brother and son of famous Puerto Rician star Carlos Colon)are just a few slated to be there. Then I am on to Dallas on Saturday to wrestle for PCW, return home Sunday for WWE house show in my home town of Monroe, La. (do not think I am working the show, just hanging out with some friends, but you never know!)Then Monday I am booked for Raw in Lafayette, La. So things have been real busy as of late, but I am happy for it : ) It seems this year is starting out great and I know it will only continue to get better ! I hope that you all are doing as well as I am. God Bless you all! See you ringside !!!!!
