WWE 24/7 Program Info + How To Get It

As we reported yesterday, WWE 24/7 is now available on Cablevision, on channel 512 for digital subscribers, as a subscription video-on-demand service. Pro Wrestling Insider is now reporting that in Italy — a recent hotbed for pro wrestling — WWE 24/7 will be available starting February 1 as its own channel on Sky Italy. It will be available as a 24-hours-a-day channel, showing an eight-hour block of programming each day, repeating twice after its initial airing (9pm-5am, 5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm). The service had already been available on a “pay-per-day” basis.

(This is of course different from WWE.com’s 24/7 Online service which offers individual matches and segments to view on a pay-per-view or subscription basis.)

Territories: Relive classic matches from some of the top regional wrestling promotions around the country, including an in-depth look at the hardcore evolution of ECW.

Prime Time: Classic WWE shows like Tuesday Night Titans & Prime Time Wrestling are presented in their entirety. You can also relive the week-by-week war waged between Turner and WWE, with exclusive retrospective commentary and insight interspersed among Raw and Nitro’s best battles – a back-story to wrestling’s backbone.

Shorties: Small packages, big moments. Check out this collection of epic feuds, infamous promos, hilarious parodies and much more.

January 2007: Dynamic Duos

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Dynamic Duos – the greatest tag teams in wrestling history take over WWE 24/7 On Demand throughout January.

Plus, relive the Hall of Fame careers of The Valiant Brothers. WWE’s first Hall of Fame Tag Team, “Handsome” Jimmy and “Luscious” Johnny ruled the WWE’s Tag Team scene throughout much of the 1970s. Known as much for their flashy style as their ring skills, the Valiants revolutionized Tag Team wrestling in the WWE. Check out classic matches versus the likes of Dean Ho and Tony Garea, Gorilla Monsoon and Chief Jay Strongbow, Andre the Giant and Tito Santana and others. Their career retrospective includes great interview clips and their 1996 Hall of Fame induction.

THE BIG ONES

WCW BattleBowl ’93 was a unique event where WCW stars are forced to them up via “Lethal Lottery”. The result – some very unusual pairings such as “Stunning” Steve Austin teaming with Ric Flair and Cactus Jack teaming with Vader. In the end, winning teams make it to the BattleBowl Battle Royal main event, where it’s every man for himself.

A great Old School card from Madison Square Garden (7/1/91) featuring the Nasty Boys battling the Hart Foundation for the WWE Tag Team Championship and The Undertaker vs. the Ultimate Warrior in a Body Bag Match.

PRIME TIME

A new episode of the Legends of Wrestling as Dusty Rhodes, Pat Patterson, Michael Hayes and Mike Graham join Jim Ross for a no holds barred discussion of the Greatest Superstars of the ‘80s. This edition focuses on the careers of Jerry “The King” Lawler and the Junkyard Dog.

Two (2) episodes of The History of ECW hosted by Tazz and Joey Style as they continue to chronicle the evolution of extreme. Don’t miss the final ECW encounter between Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko in an incredible 2-out-of-3 falls contest.
