According to the New York Times Christopher Nowinski asked the family of deceased NFL player Andre Waters to have his brain examined for any potential links between his concussion that cause brain damage and his suicide. The doctors found that his brain tissue had degenerated into that of “85-year-old man with similar characteristics as those of early-stage Alzheimer’s victims” with t he probable cause being his multiple concussions suffered while playing in the NFL. The purpose was to publicize that even 20 years later, concussions can continue to have effects if untreated and unrecognized.

Variety is reporting that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (their billing, not ours) is going to have a role in the upcoming Warner Brothers remake of “Get Smart”. He’ll be alongside Terence Stamp, Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell.

The costumed wrestler who Jaime Noble wrestled at Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings was Deep South’s Shantelle Taylor (official site myspace OWW Wikipedia) according to Pro Wrestling Insider. You’re not supposed to know that she’s a woman, which why she’s in a costume.
