Josh Schwartz reveals that there will be a pregnancy. There’s going to be some surprises for the Cohen family, and some really big decisions for everybody to make. Taylor’s going to have to deal directly with some of her hang-ups to make it work with Ryan. Their world is about to get shaken up.
As the Cohens prepare for Kirsten’s 40th birthday party, Kirsten gets some news that will change her life forever. Sandy’s secret plans for Kirsten’s 40th-birthday party are outdone by an even bigger surprise from Kirsten. This is probably the pregnancy.
Summer pretends to work for a newspaper in order to get in the room where an event is taking place.
Meanwhile, Julie Cooper is having a secret love affair that Kaitlin does all she can to stop. Bullit pulls out the big guns in his pursuit of Julie.
While Ryan acts like he doesn’t miss Taylor, Taylor visits a therapist, who gives her some rules to live by.
After their plan to save Newport Chuck goes awry, Che finally discovers that Seth is not his soulmate, and Sandy and Kirsten have surprises for each other. Che and Seth, amongst others, will see the inside of a jail cell.
