Singer Pink and husband Carey Hart are said to be “distraught” and “devastated” after losing a close and beloved member of their family this past week. According to several media outlets, the couple’s pet bulldog, Elvis, drowned in the pool outside their Los Angeles home. They had named the dog after singer Elvis Presley, as his daughter Lisa Marie, a good friend of theirs, had given it to them as a gift. Friends of the couple’s say that the dog had previously swum in the pool with no problems, and he may have actually been killed when the pool was struck by lightning during a thunderstorm. In that case, it would have been the electrocution that killed him, if I’m not mistaken. Then again, I did make up the whole lightning thing.
