As of last week, the main matches for WrestleMania are slated to be the following:
– John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship
– Batista vs. The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title
– Hulk Hogan vs. Shane McMahon w/ Khali
– Shawn Michaels w/ Donald Trump vs. King Booker w/ Vince McMahon
Of course, things are changing all the time, and house after we posted this, Dave Meltzer reported on his Web site that “there looks to be a major change in the planned Wrestlemania line-up having to do with John Cena’s match. The decision hasn’t been fully made but I’m told the change… is significant.”
In other news, at the moment Batista vs. King Booker is expected to headline No Way Out… The masked Sensai wrestler appearing on Smackdown dark matches and house shows is actually a female wrestler named Shantelle Taylor, although nobody who has seen the character so far realised it was a woman… Hogan Knows Best is not expected to be back for another season. Hogan said that with Brooke on the road singing and Nick signing a deal to drive cars with Dodge, the family won’t be in the same place long enough to do it… and there are plans to bring in minis and dress them up as Vince and Trump in the coming weeks.
