HOUR 1:
– The show started with Jeremy Borash interviewing Chris Sabin who was using a walker to make fun of Jerry Lynn. We see VKM and Bob Backlund waiting outside of Jim Cornette’s office.
– Austin Starr vs. Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Alex Shelly vs. Jay Lethal vs. Jerry Lynn ended when Chris Sabin came out with the walker and Depends brand adult diaper which distracted Lynn and Starr got the victory. Senshi came out after the match to attack Starr while Kevin Nash watched from the ramp. Lethal and Dutt seemed to be having an argument while this was going on.
– Samoa Joe comes out to say he is not working with Christian, but then Christian appears on the screen and says Joe is working with him and he would give the fans another clue as to who his anger management consultant is even though he just said it was Joe.
– Backlund and VKM are still waiting outside Cornette’s office when James Storm and Ms. Tennessee enter the picture to talk about Petey Williams but Eric Young interrupts them and Christy Hemme cuts in front of VKM as they enter Cornette’s office. Raven.
– Robert Roode with Ms. Brooks beat Petey Williams with Gail Kim when James Storm with Ms. Tennessee interfered but got chased off by Eric Young who left with Ms. Brooks after Christopher Daniels Abyss Spike Dudley wearing a polar bear suit.
– Kip James and Christy Hemme argued in Cornette’s office about Chyna. Cornette said Hemme would fight a mystery opponent at the next PPV. They were interrupted by Devon who promised to show LAX respect.
– Samoa Joe went to a no contest with AJ Styles when AJ faked an injury and Rhino interfered. Joe grabbed a chair and demanded Christian come out but instead Kurt Angle comes out and gets in Joe’s face. AJ and Christian get the upper hand thanks to Tomko handling Rhino and the bad guys choke out the good guys as AJ Pierzynski looks on and strokes his beard. Kurt Angle gets up and talks about Big Show and Jericho and Hogan and how TNA can’t stop beating Smackdown and challenges Tito Ortiz to a shoot fight.
END OF HOUR 1.
– Prison thingy is set up as Mitchell comes to the ring to challenge Sting to a match with Abyss where the loser gets put into a jail type thing and Sting comes out wearing an Abyss mask
HOUR 2:
– Sting comes out in the same outfit and suddenly Mitchell is in the jail type thing and Abyss attacks him while Shane Douglas screams at the Naturals and the Diamonds in the Rough declare that they are back and better than The Truth and Lance Hoyt Chris Harris Puma. Bob Backlund walks around the ring and insults the fans.
– Abyss beats Chase Stevens and then Andy Douglas comes out and he gets attacked and then Shane Douglas comes out to scream at them some more and Sting accepts Abyss’ challenge and FUCK YOU RUSSO! SERIOUSLY, FUCK YOU! WHAT THE FUCK? No, no, that’s unfair. He’s doing what he does, trying to get everyone involved. He can be a bit of a spastic child, but everyone has something to do and everyone gets crammed on in to that one hour of plot development. Remember how awful the ECW PPV was where there was literally 0 undercard development. This is just the exact opposite to the other extreme. Grin it, bear it, be nice to it, because Vince McMahon and Donald Trump are the only other option.
– Team 3D comes out and prays for Bam Bam Bigelow. They run down how LAX attacked their uncle. Konnan comes out in a wheel chair with Moody Jack and Brother Runt comes out and Brother tells him to go away and get loaded and then Homicide and Hernandez murder Brother Ray with a coat hanger and steel chair. This does not sound bad at all except for the Runt part. Nobody involved who wasn’t supposed to be involved. It’s great. Russo is doing okay.
– Sabin Starr Storm beat Rhino Lynn Senshi while Raven and Serotonin watch from the stands because every mother f*cker needs to get on television.
– Kurt Angle Samoa Joe Christian Rhino AJ Styles Scott Steiner blah blah blah.
Overall, I would definitely say that the taping was free.
