TV Babies: Prison Break, Episode 2-15

Shows

There were moments of last night’s Prison Break that were among the drama’s best:

– Michael’s plan unfolds, and we realize what he wants all the attention for: as an opportunity for he and Lincoln to tell their story. With the aide of renegade “Company” man Kellerman, they take a cameraman hostage to a remote destination. And the brothers spill everything, including Mahone’s dirty laundry and a plea to Sara…

– The scene where the F.B.I. breaks down Michael & Lincoln’s every facial tick and body movement during their “press conference”, in an effort to seperate the true and the false…

– Loved the ups and downs of Sucre’s Mexican journey, working his way back to Maricruz. His bonding with the old man was a nice touch, and the old man not turning Sucre in a nice twist. Thank god there’s at least one prison breaker (outside of the brothers) we can root for and not feel guilty, dumb or both…

Unfortunately, we must also spend time with Bellick and Haywire. As far as Haywire is concerned, I barely pay attention when he’s on screen. I know this might come back to haunt me, and he may turn out to be Michael and Lincoln’s long-lost brother, but I just don’t care. Equally ludicrous is Mahone seeking out Bellick’s assistance. We’re putting this dunce back in the hunt again? If this is the best Mahone can do, his underlings who question his methods have good reason.

The Message concludes with Kellerman receiving a long overdue phone call from the President, no doubt busy on the set of Brothers & Sisters. Does Kellerman say too little, too-late…or return to his subserviant ways?
