Freddy Vs….Kane?

News

WWE.com started a cool feature sometime ago where a WWE superstar would interview a celebrity. There have been some great combinations such as Hulk Hogan interviewing Sylvester Stallone. John Cena interviewing Snoop Dogg. And Edge interviewing hockey great Martin Brodeur.

Well, now has come my most favorite to date as Smackdown superstar Kane sat down with Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund.

Englund and Kane discuss wearing masks, psychiatrists, and some of Robert’s past film work including the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise. In a way though, this promotes Englund’s next film Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon which hits theatres March 16. In the film, an up and coming serial killer has a documentary film crew follow him along and capture every psychotic thing he does.

But Kane managed to see if the clawed one would ever think about having a match:

Kane: Freddy Krueger was one of my childhood heroes. I cheered you on in Freddy vs. Jason. How about you and Jacob Goodnight (from See No Evil) go one-on-one someday? Are you scared that I’ll give you nightmares?

Englund: I like that Krueger vs. Goodnight!

Kane: If we didn’t do it on Elm Street, maybe we can do it in a WWE ring.
