TiVo Central – Grey's Anatomy – Episode 3-14

Shows

The race for the chief continues as Addison, Mark, Burke, and Derek try to make an impression on Richard. The Denny Duquette Memorial Clinic has opened for busy and Izzie is watching the door. And oh yeah, some marriages. At least one marriage. Am I the only one that thinks the only reason George and Callie got married was so that Callie could become Callie O’Malley? Yeah, didn’t think so either.

Izzie is a little too concerned with George’s marriage. Callie picks up on it. She doesn’t like George’s friends. But Izzie is right. “You don’t marry the ‘rebound’ girl!” George is a different person around Izzie and his friends than with Callie. I’m not buying George sticking up for Callie. He did this time, but this topic will just keeping coming up until Callie sees the truth.

Meredith’s mom has a change in her condition. She actually remembers everything, except the last 5 years. She remembers her romance with Webber and she remembers Meredith. But she doesn’t know she has Alzheimer’s until Meredith tells her. This provides an interesting dynamic to the “Webber stepping down as chief” storyline. Although, Meredith’s mom yelling at Meredith and saying that she didn’t turn out great was a little harsh. Too bad Meredith couldn’t make things right before her mom turned back to her old self.

Cristina is not wearing the ring that Burke gave to her. She still hasn’t given Burke an answer to his marriage proposal. Um, that’s odd. You usually get a yes or no pretty quickly. This is a TV show, though, so I suppose they are allowed to drag this out an entire episode. Still it’s odd. You knew she would say yes in that strange Cristina way of hers. Still don’t like her. Burke can keep her!

The medical drama was certainly high in this one. A lady has toxic blood and causes everyone on the staff to pass out. That was fun seeing everyone drop to the floor like flies. Everything works out in the end, but still that was fun.

I don’t have much more to say this week. Wait a second, yes I do. What the hell was Addison doing with Mark?! Um, Alex is WAY better than Mark. Stupid Addison. I’ll just blame it on the toxin blood lady and say that she had to be not thinking straight.

A dramatic episode to say the least, but it’s “February Sweeps” time. What else do you expect? More drama to come in the next three weeks. If you thought the Super Bowl episode last year was dramatic, I’m being told you haven’t seen anything yet. This should be tons of fun!

Sir Linksalot: Television News

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
