The reason behind Rob Van Dam being jobbed out to Bob Holly recently is thought to be because he gave his notice to the company. However, his contract does not actually expire until the summer.
On a side note, The only elimination done by an ECW wrestler during the Royal Rumble was Rob Van Dam eliminating Chris Masters.
