TiVo Central – Greys Anatomy – Episoide 3-15

Shows

It’s “February Sweeps” time, so that means it’s time to pull out all of the stops. We start off with the first night of a three-night story arc that should be pretty dramatic. The center of this story is a ferry boat. A ferry boat got hit by another bigger ship in some fog. There are mass casualities everywhere. This is weird as I’m getting deja vu here. I saw a movie over the weekend that reminded me of this exact situation. Ironically, it was called Deja Vu with Denzel Washington and Val Kilmer. In that movie, a ferry boat explodes and there are injuries everywhere. Here we are again, but this time it’s up to the good doctors at Seattle Grace to help out.

Besides the ferry accident, there is Burke/Cristina engagement. Cristina wanted them to tell Meredith and Derek about it before they told anyone else. But basically Burke tells Derek and Mark overhears it. Mark then tells Webber, and then Webber tells Cristina. So everyone knows before Cristina could tell Meredith. Of course, that pisses Cristina off. It’s always about her!

Meredith is still dealing with her mom and not setting things straight before her condition worsened. She gets tired of everyone asking her if she is okay with everything, though. Ironically she has to watch over a little girl who has lost her mom during the confusion of the accident. She keeps showing up. It’s almost like her conscience.

Webber dyes his hair. Why? He needs a change or something. Basically, he needs to shake things up in his life since his wife is gone now.

Izzie has to help a man crushed underneath a car by herself. It’s all up to her to save him, which is not good since she doesn’t think she is ready for all of this.

Alex saves a pregnant woman who got crushed by a fallen beam. She doesn’t look good at all, but seems to be pulling through. He shares a moment with Addison.

George promised a mother that he would find her missing son. But he can’t find him.

There is also another nurse/doctor, whose name I don’t remember. But she fights with Callie for some unknown reason.

And really that’s all I can say about this episode. Obviously, this is just setting up things for the next two episodes. So everything is “to be continued” here. Lots of chaos that isn’t settled yet.

Oh wait..what about the ending? I almost forgot. The guy that Meredith is helping freaks out and pushes Meredith out of the way. He pushes her backwards and she flips over the edge and into the ocean! The little girl has been helping her, but she quietly walks away. There is too much symbolizism going on here. You see, because Meredith was in the bath tub to start this episode. She dunked her head under the water to get away from all her problems with her mom. Well, now she’s back in the water. The only person that knows is that little girl and she is in no hurry to get help. Of course, she’s probably in shock. So yeah..LOTS more to come here. Call this a big GIANT “TO BE CONTINUED” episode!

Sir Linksalot: Television News

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
