Andy Reid is going to be taking a leave of absence from the team that will last at least until mid-March.
Reid has had a lot of personal family trouble lately especially in dealing with his two sons.
Britt Reid, 21, was arraigned on drug and weapon charges. After a dispute, Britt was accused of pointing a gun at another driver. Other charges of carrying a weapon without a license, lying to authorities, simple assault, and more are also held against him.
Garrett Reid, 23, caused a minor traffic accident on January 30 and then tested positive for heroin. No charges have yet been filed, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be.
Being the head of football operations, as well as head coach, will miss the scouting combine near the end of February; but should return by draft at the end of April.
