RAW began airing in Canada at 10pm ET, and so far the following major developments have taken place in Portland, Oregon:
– Portland’s own Rowdy Roddy Piper is in the building, on WWE TV for the first time since being diagnosed with cancer. He came out to a great ovation, and then announced that Dusty Rhodes is the first Hall of Fame inductee for 2007. Umaga and Armando came out and laid both men out to huge heat.
– The Donald Trump vs. Vince McMahon angle will come to a… head with the “loser” having to shave his. (Full Story)
– Prior to RAW, in a dark match, Paul Burchill beat a local talent. For HEAT tapings, Kenny Dykstra beat Val Venis, Shelton Benjamin pinned Scotty Too Hotty after Charlie Haas interfered and Cryme Time defeated Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Heat can be found on WWE.com each Friday afternoon.
