Smackdown Spoilers for February 16, 2007

Last night in Seattle, WA, WWE taped this Friday’s Smackdown following the ECW airing.

In a pre-ECW dark match, Matt Hardy beat Chuck Palumbo, who was wearing a top hat.

For Smackdown:

– Boogeyman beat Finlay. Little Bastard tried to interfere, but he was stopped by new top babyface Mini Boogeyman!

– Deuce beat Brian Kendrick. Domino, Cherry and London were at ringside. Domino shoved Spanky off the top rope, leading to a kick to the face and the pin.

– John Cena and Shawn Michaels were in the lockerroom, teasing tension. HBK said he has Cena’s back until Mania. Their opponents, MVP and Kennedy (from an angle set up on RAW) were shown backstage walking towards the ring.

– John Cena & Shawn Michaels beat Mr. Kennedy & MVP.

– In Teddy Long’s office, the divas discussed what talents they’d show off at No Way Out. Kristal wasn’t sure, Jillian contemplated rapping, and then when Jillian left, Kristal stripped down to her underwear to show Teddy some more “talents.”

– After commercials, we got to see that Kristal was not topless, Teddy was happy, and once she left, Bobby Lashley stopped by the office. Thankfully he was fully dressed. Kennedy came in upset, and challenged Lashley for the ECW Championship. Long said he’d have to talk with “ECW officials” to see if it could happen, but Kennedy said to make it happen.

– Ashley unveiled her Playboy cover.

– Gregory Helms (with new music) fought RAW’s Scotty 2 Hotty to a no contest when Daivari, ECW’s Shannon Moore, Jamie Noble, Funaki and Jimmy Wang Yang interfering. This is setting up a seven-man CW Title match for No Way Out.

– Typical Maryse bumped (in a tub) led into commercial… and Big Dick Johnson (in a tub) brought us out.

– They ran down the No Way Out matches, with Kennedy vs. Lashley appearing to have been made official.

– Edge & Orton were shown backstage planning to turn Taker and Batista against each other.

– Undertaker & Batista beat Edge & Randy Orton in the main event.
