The comic book, cartoon, and video game team of superheroes, the Justice League, has been around for many years. The League combines the talents of some of the best and most well-known good guys in the entire DC comics’ universe.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman are the unspoken leaders of the group while other members Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and the Flash are always there as well. Other formations of the League have been seen throughout the years including the animated series Justice League Unlimited that had almost every superhero known to man. But fans have always wanted for more. And Warner Brothers studios seems poised to give them more.
Warner Bros. is apparently in talks to create a live-action version of the “Justice League” for the big screen sometime in the future. They’ve even gone as far as to already hire writers Michele and Kieran Mulroney to pen the script. Kieran is the brother of actor Dermot Mulroney.
Aintitcool poised many questions that present a lot of scenarios that may or may not come true. For instance, would Brandon Routh portray Superman as he did in last year’s Superman Returns? Would Batman Begins‘ star Christian Bale don the cowl for another film involving the dark knight?
The idea of this film being in the works makes me extremely giddy. I just hope that if it is done; that it’s done right. More info on this as soon as we get it.
