Speaking of the WCW title, WWE Finally puts the WCW title history back on its site, and yes, the current Big Gold Belt that’s now around Batista’s waist on Smackdown has lineage that goes back to 1904, according to WWE.com. Million-time WCW Champion Ric Flair turned 58 this weekend, and says he has another year in him.

Speaking of title belts, the Cleveland Indians will be giving away Travis Hafner bobblehead dolls this year, with Hafner wearing a WWE belt.

Speaking of strange visuals, at OVW TV from 2/24/07, Mark Henry defeated Daniel Rodimer with a full-nelson slam, marking Sexual Chocolate’s return to action after a patella injury.

Speaking of returns to wrestling, in the Danny Doring & Abyss win over Adam Flash & Bruiser Sunday night at Maryland Championship Wrestling, Amy Dumas acted as special guest ref. She wrote about it and more in her latest MySpace blog entry, saying “It was good to see some old friends in Danny Doring and Christian York. So, York is a magician now………, who knew? It was also fun to be able to interact with the fans on a casual level and have some freedom to just go out there and have a good time. I am doing 2 shows for Hermie Sadler’s group UWF, this weekend as well. Other than that, I have been super busy with recording The Luchagors 1st album. We are all still in the studio and being taken to school everyday by our producer, Rachel. Our songs have come so far since we began. We are all learning so much and becoming a much more dynamic band. I can’t wait for you guys to see how far we have come from the songs on our myspace demo. You guys sent me an excerpt from something the JR wrote about me. I really appreciate the kind words from him. I always got along and respected him. He shoots straight and is sincere in his words. I do feel as though I contributed a lot to the wrestling business, and I understand ‘Lita’ left the WWE as a heel character. However, the human being Amy Dumas, gave a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to the WWE, and I am glad that someone that the same person that hired me, acknowledged that.”

Speaking of indie shows, at the recent NWA PRO Fiest Lucha show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the New Orleans, former AWA World Champion Nick Bockwinkel was introduced as “soon to be WWE Hall of Fame Inductee” according to Pro Wrestling Insider.

Speaking of AWA, their not-always-reliable Web site has announced that recently-released former WWE superstars the Bashams, Romeo, Antonio, Tatanka and CW Anderson will be competing with the AWA.
