According to Dave Meltzer, as of yesterday WWE was still expecting Mistico to wrestle in San Jose tomorrow night at the Smackdown/ECW tapings.
CMLL officials are supposedly planning on notifying authorities to try and block him from leaving Mexico and entering the U.S. In Sunday morning’s El Reforma newspaper, Mistico’s best friend and travel partner Rosalio Garcia was quoted saying Miscito couldn’t go to WWE due to visa issues along with a Tuesday night booking in Pachuca, understood to have been booked by CMLL before the superstar told the Mexican promotion about his plans to go to WWE.
Also at the SD/ECW tapings (where ECW is expected to air live, as has been the case for west coast shows), Mr. Kennedy will likely be in a Money in the Bank qualifier, and Bobby Lashley will defend his ECW Title up against someone he hasn’t faced in quite a while — Bob Holly — in a steel cage. Yep.
