Pro Wrestling Insider is reporting that MTV has canceled Wrestling Society X “effective immediately.”
WSX, after an initial jump in ratings, has had lower ratings then shows in that have shown in that time slot before. There are still 6 un-aired episodes, and it is up in the air right now if they will actually be shown in anyway.
Big Vision Entertainment still owns the rights to the show, and can shop it around if they want. Also, you can’t forget that they can go straight to DVD, or even on some sort of On Demand service in the cable market.
MTV claims that the show did not air last week because of low ratings, but many sources inside MTV are also blaming the Fireball spot that they heavily edited last night.
