Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, the fifth film in the franchise, is due out July 13 of this year but the celebration has started a little early.

The film’s main star Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter himself, has signed on to finish out the series of films and return for final two. The 17-year old has recently gotten fantastic reviews for his performance in the stage play “Equus” in which he does appear nude, but it’s also brought about some controversy. Many have said that his portrayal in the play will ruin his reputation and tarnish what he has done for the famed magician loved by millions of children all over the world.

Radcliffe is joined by Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and a whole cast of others who return for Phoenix. There are also some newcomers such as Helena Bonham Carter and Imelda Staunton to the franchise grabbing parts that will be introduced in the new film.

The sixth film called Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is rumored for release in 2008. The seventh film Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows is rumored for release in 2010 while the book is coming out July 21 of this year. Deathly Hollows will mark the end of Potter’s run as author J.K. Rowling has decided to make this the end of the journey.
