Sports Illustrated has published an article detailing a recent sting on a Florida “wellness” center. In the article, investigators reveal that many pro athletes have been sent steroids via illegal prescriptions through the center.
The sting is now hitting pro wrestling as well.
It has been revealed by SI.com today that Kurt Angle, former WWE star and current TNA star, has been discovered to have received illegal prescriptions of the drug trenbolone and nandrolone between October 2004 and February 2005. Both drugs are illegal steroids, and according to the story, Angle didn’t return calls that the magazine left with his spokesman seeking comment.
