There has been a long build towards a Hulk Hogan/Jerry Lawler fight to take place on Memphis TV, with Jimmy Hart trying to make this match a reality.
This past weekend on TV, Corey Maclin and Hart went to Lawler’s home and got him to sign a contract for the match. They then got Hogan on the phone to agree to the match, and Hart was sent to get his friend’s signature.
The angle goes back years, with approximately 25-year-old footage being utilized to get the storyline over. According to Wikipedia, Memphis Wrestling airs Saturday mornings on WLMT (CW30) locally, TWC Fight! in the United Kingdom and Ireland and The Fight Network in Canada.
