TNA Updates on Destination X, Two-Hour Show & More

News

PWTorch.com is reporting that TNA’s contract with Spike TV expires this fall, and that TNA is expected to push for a second hour for iMPACT! as part of the upcoming negotiations. According to the Torch, any second hour expansion won’t happen until the new fall season. It is possible, however, as the 1.0+ ratings have been seen as a positive to the cable network. While members of TNA management and the promotion’s wrestlers want a two-hour show to go head-to-head with RAW, that is not likely at this time.

In other TNA news, Frankie Kazarian, Matt Bentley & Johnny Devine are now known as Kaz, Martyr & Havoc. Devine/Havoc’s latest SLAM! Wrestling columns can now be found here and here.
