The annual videogame challenge over WrestleMania weekend is on 03/29 at the Gem Theater in Detroit. Shelton Benjamin, winner of all four prior events, will not be defending his title this time. Participants are Batista, Lashley, Ashley, Jeff Hardy, Carlito, Nitro, Melina, Mickey James, Kenny, Chavo, Kennedy, MVP, Punk, Kelly, Dreamer and Striker. There’s an article on Nitro here.
The 02/26 Raw drew 6.13 million total viewers, the highest number since 6th May 2002, which was the first episode after Steve Austin’s arrest and headlined by Hulk Hogan & Edge vs. Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle. Also, the 5.42 million viewers for the 02/23 Smackdown was the highest number since 23rd June 2005, while the over 6 million viewers for the Mysterio segment were the highest quarter draw since the first Smackdown after WrestleMania 21.
Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio is targeting July for his return to action. WWE wants to do something really big with him at SummerSlam.
