FOX had the top three shows this week. In fact, they had 4 out of the top ten shows. It helped that they had mostly new episodes on their network. In the end, though, they had to have NASCAR bail them out to end up TIED for first with CBS this week. That’s right. FOX had more top shows than CBS and won more nights, but it took its NASCAR coverage to just break even for #1. FOX now has taken ABC’s spot as a firm #2 and #1, if they week goes just right.

ABC was all “rerun” and it showed. Nowhere to be seen in 4th place. The same for NBC. Not even close to the two top networks. However, there is some hope for ABC. Dancing with the Stars returns for a new season next Monday. It is the reigning #1 show on TV. The last season has done better numbers than American Idol so far. Can they keep it going for the 4th season and will it be enough for ABC to just compete? Probably not, but it will be fun watching. So stay tuned…
