Wide Release

Shooter – Danny Glover, Kate Mara, and Mark Wahlberg star in this action thriller about a man (Wahlberg) framed for an assassination attempt on the President. A marksman who was in hiding came out of his shell when he learned about the plot to kill the President, but when double-crossed and set up for the whole thing; it’s up to him to find out who did it and why before he’s caught.

TMNT – Laurence Fishburne, Mako, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and many more lend their vocal talents to the four turtles who were changed by a slimy green ooze into ninja-fighting talking mutant turtles. Raphael, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Donatello are back again under the direction of Master Splinter to stop evil from taking over.

The Hills Have Eyes 2 – Starring Michael McMillian, Ben Crowley, Jessica Stroup, and more in this sequel to Wes Craven’s mutant-filled horror. A group of National Guard trainees are sent to make a delivery to a group of military scientists in the desert. Upon arriving at the empty compound, their delivery turns into a rescue mission right in the middle of the homeland of blood-thirsty mutants.

Pride – Terrence Howard, Kimberly Elise, and Bernie Mac star in a heart-warming film based on true events. A young group of teens can do nothing but find themselves constantly going down the wrong path, but Jim Ellis (Howard) plans to do something about that as he sets up a swim team at the recreation center to keep the kids off the streets and out of trouble.

The Last Mimzy – Chris O’Neil, Rainn Wilson, Rhiannon Leigh Wryn, Michael Clarke Duncan and more star in this family film about two young children who find a mysterious box of toys. Soon after, the children find themselves with strange abilities while those around them get sucked into a world of mystery and sometimes terrifying things.

Reign Over Me – Adam Sandler stars as Charlie Fineman, a man who lost everything due to the incidents of September 11. At the end of his rope without any family left, he one day runs into his old college friend Alan Johnson (Don Cheadle) who looks forth to rekindle his old friendship with Fineman and maybe bring some hope back into his life.

Color Me Kubrick: A True ish Story – Director Stanley Kubrick died in 1999 after filming his last project Eyes Wide Shut. Now follow the story of a man named Alan Conway (John Malkovich) who knows little about Kubrick and knows virtually nothing about him but posed as the famous director during filming.

Air Guitar Nation – Follow along with the documentary all about the trend that swept the nation many decades ago, air guitar. The act of holding dead air and swinging your arms as if to play a guitar while jumping around wildly became known as a national phenomenon and actually even spurred huge contests for who could do it best. From birth to world champions it’s time to air guitar.

Offside – After the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran, women are not permitted to enter sports’ arenas. But there’s a group of girls who want nothing more then to get into Tehran’s Azadi Stadium to watch the big soccer match, but they must be sneaky about it. The girls all dress up as boys and make their way into the stadium at the risk of getting arrested, which some do, but nothing will stop them from watching this game.
