A young rat living in France still knows that he is a rat and that his life is destined to consist of crawling around in sewers and eating whatever left over foods he can find. The only problem is that he is one rat who has a taste for the finer things in life. Remy loves to scout out the famous Paris restaurants and eat the gourmet food that all of its patrons have grown to love.
Remy even looks to the life of being a chef but he has a few obstacles to overcome first. The owners, chefs, and restaurant goers of course do not want rats where they prepare the food and eat. But then there is Remy’s family who believe it is too dangerous and he should stick to the easy life and just keep eating garbage out of sight.
