There has been talk of talent scouts hanging out in high schools all around Canada looking for not only places to shoot, but for the perfect actress.
And that would be an actress for the lead role in a remake of 1985’s Teen Wolf. Yes, the film that put Michael J. Fox on the scene as a teenager trying to deal with all the troubles of high school, and then learning he’s a werewolf is next on the remake slate. But this time they are looking to put a female as the star.
Not much else is known about the film at this time except that Tom Welling (Smallville) is to have a role in it.
No word whether this will be a remake with simply the lead role switched from male to female or if it will be a brand new film completely. Stay tuned to Popcorn Junkies and I’ll get you more as we do.
