Director Dennis Dugan and Adam Sandler just can’t get enough of each other. Dugan has directed Sandler in such hits as Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy, as well as this summer’s I Know Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
With such collaborations it should come to no surprise that they will reteam with You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, another Happy Madison production.
The comedy centers on a Mossad agent (Sandler) who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become a hairstylist. Rob Schneider already has boarded the project as an East Yistannen cab driver. Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Sandler wrote the screenplay.
Shooting for Zohan will begin in the summer in Los Angeles and New York. The studio is eyeing a summer 2008 release.
